| We have derived our name from the combination of two worlds that appear contradictory but ought not to be. | |
| The first part of our name relates to Zen Buddhism and the ideas of meditation and contemplation. A quiet, non-frenetic world. |  |
| The second part of our name relates to Technology. All too often, technology is associated with noise and frenetic activity. |  |
However this need not be the case. Machines can be built to look aesthetically pleasing, to be whisper quiet, to not radiate unwanted and unhealthy electromagnetic fields, to not emanate toxic gases. It is just a matter of will and values. We believe one works to live, not live to work. We believe that machines should be our slaves, not the other way around. We want to employ the power of technology to free people from the daily grind. This is what our company stands for and what we sell is related to this theme - quiet, contemplative Zen Technology. |
